At BMS we are very fortunate that we are asked to develop many interesting solutions to business problems. We get to work in a broad range of industries and organisations. Even those organisations who have been our clients for 10 years or more continue to have a new range of interesting challenges as we respond together to changing needs and requirements.

A worldwide software system had some important shortcomings and enhancement plans but the solution to these had eluded the development team. Out experience in a wide range of industries and projects help to resolve the way ahead.

WORLD WIDE MEDICAL DATABASE
Design and implementation of a world wide on-line database for medical research data. Ability to collect and interpret data and analyse results for research outcomes.

HELP TOOL FOR DATA ENTRY
A databases is the foundation of any business application this tool allows that descriptions in an database to by automatically generated to data entry screens so that user can see instruction about the items they are being askes to enter

DATABASE SYNCHRONISATION TOOL
this application works in a environment where there are many distributed databases that are updated in many different locations and at different times. This application uses a series of algorithms to bring together the data for use in a central datasource that is also used as the basis of a web ordering system.

VISUAL MATCHING APPLICATION
a system that provides a drag and drop approach matching faces to data for photographed individuals different locations and at different times.

LEGAL DOCUMENT CREATION
an "expert system" that creates documents based on data supplied by customers on a web site. The documents are automatically modified to suit the particular situation described in the data. The time and skill required to produce these documents has been greatly reduced.

the website is the web portal of a magazine publisher and provides the ability to communicate with interested parties and allow for subscription to the publications.

IT PROJECT EVALUATION
a large IT Department required a standard methodology and approval process for evaluating the costs and benefits of IT projects. This system consolidates the multitude of tasks in a project to create a top level return on investment analysis.

ENHANCED SPOOLER
An intelligent spooler for high volume printing. Provides a database of what has been printed by who and when together with the ability to view and modify documents prior to printing. Monitors documents and warns of duplicate printing and incorrect documents

STUDENT VIEW DATABASE
a pictorial and statistical database system for schools developed for an international supplier of photo-graphical software
SYSTEM REQUIEMENTS STUDY
a government authority that monitors compliance to legislation required a website where clients could report compliance to frequently changing legislation. BMS was asked to review the organisations and clients requirements and document these. The requirements were then used to tender for the provision of the service.

MailRoom
our company has developed and provided the award wining MailRoom for Australia Post over a period of 10 years. There were over 30 new versions of the software during that period to keep up with price and product changes. MailRoom provides Mail Management and accounting services to over 450 of Australia Post's largest customers.

MRM
a separate Mail Room Management System built for New Zealand Post. MRM allows NZ Post customers to review the best way to utilise mail services. It also allow for allocation of mailing costs to cost centres. The system includes extensive analysis and reporting

PROJECT BUDGETING
a large retailer installing new software and hardware in their stores need to budget for the costs of implementation and training.

REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE
